iPhone 5 Released for $199: Apple Unveils New Features, Confirms US Release Date September 21
Apple unveiled the iPhone 5 Wednesday and confirmed that it will be available in the United States on September 21, starting at $199 for 16GB, $299 for 32 GB and $399 for 64GB.
Pre-orders start on Sept. 14 and iOS the following week.
The iPhone 5 will have new and improved features:
New Screen 4-inch Display (Taller but not Wider)
Retina Display 326 pixels per inch (same as old model), Pixels 1136 x 640.
4G LTE
A6 Chip 2x Faster Graphics, Smaler than A5
New Lightning Dock Connector
iOS 6
8 Megapixel Camera Sensor, better video, images, stabilization, face detection, FaceTime over cellular, take photos while recording.
7.6mm thick (thinnest phone ever made by Apple and 18% thinner than iPhone 4S)
112 grams (20% lighter than iPhone 4S)

Available in Black and White
Available at AT&T, Verizon and Sprint in the United States.
