It has been reported that the Galaxy Note 2’s release date for AT&T will land on October 21.

A reliable source for the company allegedly recently spoke to BGR regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The eagerly expected device will be distributed by all four of the major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon.

Phandroid.com has reported that an XDA user found a Sprint RDF otherwise known as a device profile that matches up to the specs on the Galaxy Note 2.

Specs for the device in the profile include an Exynos4412 processor, a 5.5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, Android 4.1.1, JellyBean, support for EVDO, DOrA, Wi-Fi, LTE, and 2GB RAM.

Specifications on the Galaxy Note 2 also include a quad-core 1.6 GHz processor, 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal memory, Android 4.1, JellyBean, and 2GB RAM.

The two lists are similar, so it is likely that Sprint could be testing its own version of the device.

The Korean-based company is also expected to release a dual-SIM version of the Galaxy Note 2 across China.

The Note 2 will feature the same 5.5-inch display and specs, however, it seems likely that it will allow users to use regular sized SIM cards or micro SIM cards as both slots can be seen in a picture of the smartphone-tablet hybrid.

The dual-SIM model will arrive on China Unicom and pricing and availability have not been officially announced yet.
