Actress Kristen Bell recently spoke about her pro-vaccination stance and the ultimatum she gave her friends who want to interact with her children.

The pros and cons of vaccinating has been in the news quite a bit recently, and Bell has a very "pro" stance on the issue. In fact, she believes so firmly in the process that she has told her friends to get vaccinated before holding her children.
"When Lincoln was born [in March 2013], the whooping cough epidemic was growing, and before she was 2 months old, we simply said [to friends], 'You have to get a whooping cough vaccination if you are going to hold our baby,'" Bell said during a This Bag Saves Lives event, a which helps support treatment of malaria.

Bell, who is perhaps most well known for voicing Anna in Disney's massively popular Frozen, summed up her stance with one sentence: "It's a very simple logic: I believe in trusting doctors, not know-it-alls."
The actress is slated to host the upcoming 30th Annual Film Independent Spirit Awards alongside indie favorite Fred Armisen. The awards are taking place live Saturday, Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on IFC.
"We're proud to once again showcase the Independent Spirit Awards on IFC and celebrate the 30th anniversary with a live broadcast," IFC President Jennifer Caserta said. "Fred is obviously right at home on IFC and we are excited to welcome Kristen to the network. Together, they'll make this show true event television for our viewers."
