Samsung has confirmed that its Galaxy Note 2 will be on board with the four main carriers in the United States; Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T. U.S. Cellular will also be taking on the device as a fifth alternative carrier.

In a recent press release, Samsung states that the launch date of the Galaxy Note 2 will either be in mid-November or about five weeks after the rollout of Apple's iPhone 5.

Pop Herald recently spoke to a Verizon representative, who had called the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 2 the "fastest" in the market today, as it will apparently cover more technological areas of expertise.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will possess a 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor in place of its original Qualcomm 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus, which Samsung devices previously were equipped with in the United States. However, the smartphone will still maintain a similar set of specs to the one that will be launched in several international markets.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will sport a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. It offers users a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels and has 2GB of RAM. Phone users will have a choice of purchasing the respective device with either 16, 32, or 64GB worth of storage space.

The smartphone will get its power from a 3,100 mAh battery, which will be larger than that of the very first Galaxy Note. Although it will lighter at 182.5g, due to its smaller bezel. The device will be compatible with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as well.

In a worldwide battle for the top of the smartphone chain, Samsung will clearly make its presence known with the release of the Galaxy Note 2. However, with Apple's recent launch of the iPhone 5, Samsung will undoubtedly have their work cut out for them in November.
