iOS 6 Jailbreak Available for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch Users
With the arrival of Apple's new iOS 6 came the genius developers who created a jailbreak that iPhone users can already implement.
The iPhone Dev-Team's Redsn0w jailbreak has now been made compatible with iOS 6 on several devices that include the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and the fourth generation iPod Touch.
The jailbreak is tethered, that means every time you rebook your Apple device the procedure has to be repeated in order to use.
This jailbreak was first released by Redsn0w when Apple made iOS 6 usable to all developers back in June. However it did not work on the iPhone 4S and there is still no compatibility with the handset after the official build rolled out to Apple users Wednesday.
The highly anticipated iPhone 5 will be released on Friday and supplies are already running low - leading fans to brave the lines outside of Apple stores around the country. The new phone will be pre-installed with the new operating system and more jailbreaks are expected to come once the device is launched.
The iOS 6 was released at 1 p.m. ET yesterday. Problems have surfaced so far with some iPhone users that reported they did not receive the notification to update their software, but this could happen because they may still have not updated their devices to the latest build of iOS 5, 5.1.1.
