'FIFA 13' Release Date Sept. 25th: Game & Amazon Pre-Order Bonus Details
Although "FIFA 13" will not be receiving any game changes of extreme proportions, it will include some upgrades that should sit well with the serious game player. However, there will be a handful of alterations that will add to the already well-known virtual soccer masterpiece. The highly-coveted game from EA Sports will be available in the United States for the Xbox 360, PS3, Playstation Vita, Nintendo DS, Wii, PSP and PC on Sept. 25.
One of the improvements made in the game is the First Touch Mechanic, which will take some practice for gamers to grow accustomed to. In earlier versions of the game, far passes almost always went to their recipient. However, the latest change will now allow only the players considered strong to receive the ball on any of the rigorous plays.
There will also more of an intellectual factor involved in the game's play, as speed, weather and positioning against opponents will now impact the gamer's level of success.
The attacking Al has been switched up in FIFA 13 as well. Players can now move more fluidly, as they can slow down and bend during their runs to stay on side as a formation of attack approaches the box. During free kicks, players now have more options in both attack and defense modes against their opponents.
The gamer will also gain more instant control over the ball near the player's feet, courtesy of FIFA Street's dribbling engine. The collision engine allows players to body check and bump their competition as well.
"FIFA 13" is considered by many to be the closest thing to a real life soccer experience. With its unpredictability, every player, tackle and goal feels vastly different. Hence, every respective play will be difficult to replicate in a similar fashion, which will leave gamers feeling like they are on the field themselves.
EA Sports' "FIFA 13" will be available in stores on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
