Chelsea vs Wolves Live Stream: Watch Online English League Cup Football (2.45pm ET)
Chelsea vs Wolves takes place on Tuesday in the English Capital One League Cup third round. The match kicks off at 2.45 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream by clicking on the link provided below.
Chelsea will be hot favorites for tonight’s game, playing in front of a home crowd and playing a lower division opposition. However, the Blues are set to make wholesale changes to their starting line up for this match and the team will look widely different from the side that started against Stoke at the weekend.
Being drafted into the side will be Cesar Azpilicueta, Victor Moses, Marko Marin and Lucas Piazon. However, even without some of the biggest names Chelsea have a depth of quality and talent in their squad and will still provide some stiff opposition for Wolves.
On the Wolves side goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey is still out, and will be until the end of October, with a knee injury.
Chelsea have a good record in this competition, reaching three League Cup finals in four years in the mid-2000’s. But more recently they have not gotten to the final rounds - they have failed to make the quarter finals in the past four seasons.
Wolves do not have a good record at Stamford Bridge and in their last four matches there they have conceded a massive 14 goals.
This will be the first time that the two teams have met together in the League Cup, but is the 104th meeting overall between the two sides. Of those 104 games Chelsea have won just 39 games, Wolves 38, with 26 draws.
Wolves have not won at Stamford Bridge since March 1979.
