The U.S. will take on Europe in the infamous Ryder Cup, which begins on Friday, September 28. The Europeans have prevailed in six out of the last eight tournaments, which take place every two years.

However, the Americans will look to change that outcome by bringing on event newcomers Brandt Snedeker, Webb Simpson, Jason Dufner and Keegan Bradley.

U.S. veteran Phil Mickelson spoke to Newsday on Wednesday about having the opportunity to be paired with 1st time Ryder Cup talent Keegan Bradley and the excitement that he will bring to the course.

"I am going to be playing a lot with Keegan Bradley, it's no secret here. He is so excited, and that exuberance and energy that he brings, you feed off of it."

The 2012 Ryder Cup will be taking place at the Medinah Country Club in Illinois.
