Is Voight going to be in the spotlight in the next episode of Chicago PD?

On Saturday, Carter Matt reported that the "voice of authority," Voight, may have his authority compromised in the upcoming episode, Get Back to Even.

Apparently, he is going to have a "tie to someone involved in a case" and has to figure out if he can protect the people close to him.

NBC has released the synopsis for the episode:

"Intelligence responds to a drug robbery gone wrong and in their investigation it's revealed that the first person Voight (Jason Beghe) ever gave his card to is linked to a double murder. Voight will fight to keep her family safe. At the same time, we learn the real reason why Halstead's (Jesse Lee Soffer) brother Will (guest star Nick Gehlfuss) came to Chicago. Meanwhile Desk Sgt. Platt (Amy Morton) takes care of a young girl at district."

The question of whether someone can get too close to a case to see it properly will be asked and maybe answered in this upcoming episode.

Chicago PD follows the Sgt. Hank Voight who is "at ground zero against the war on crime in Chicago. He would do anything to bring criminals to justice, and he does." The show follows the cast of the show as they work together to solve some of Chicago's toughest crimes and mysteries. The show is on it's second season.

The next episode airs April 1 at 10/9c on NBC.
