Galatasaray vs. Braga Live Stream Watch Online Free @ 19:45 GMT; UEFA Preview
Braga will be facing off against Galatasary in one of the eight 2012 UEFA Champions League matchups occurring on Tuesday. Although Galatasaray has proven to be a formidable opponent in the European competition thus far, they have been hindered with a slew of injuries heading into their Group H matchup.
Hamit Altintop had limped off the field during the football club's Friday loss to Orduspor 2-0. Also, key central defender Tomas Ujfalusi will remain on the sidelines for the rest of the year after undergoing surgery to repair a knee ligament injury.
Galatasaray will also be playing without the help of Spanish winger Albert Riera,, although they are confident in the bright spot tandem of Burak Yilmaz and Umut Bulut to give them an opportunity for victory.
Braga will go into the match looking to gain the proper momentum, as they currently sit in third place behind Benefica and Porto.
Antonio Salvador, the football club's president, is confident that his team can overcome Galatasaray. However, he is aware that most clubs rarely come out of the team's intimidating structure of Ali Sami Yen Spor Kompleksi where has only been defeated once in their last nine European fixtures.
"Of course it's a very important game after the unexpected defeat to Cluj. We know what we must do to achieve our goal - which is obviously to win. However, we will encounter a difficult opponent as Galatasaray showed great quality against Manchester United (a 1-0 defeat)," Salvador stated to reporters.
"Our team must show a humble attitude and fight like warriors to get the three points," he added.
According to UEFA, Fatih Terim of Galatasaray isn't taking Braga for granted either, as his team looks to compile their first Group H points at home against the club, and looks to also do so by three points.
"Three points are more important than entertaining football," Terim said.
