Verne Troyer, who's most infamously known as Mini-Me from the Austin Powers films, just suffered a scare over the weekend.

On Sunday, The Huffington Post announced that the actor had to go to a Texas hospital on Saturday due to a seizure. Apparently, this happened during a meet-and-greet event with fans when the seizure took place.

While some were probably wondering how serious this condition was, it turns out that Troyer is doing okay. A rep said that he was taken to the hospital "as a precautionary measure" where his results "came back normal, and he is currently doing fine."

Troyer took to his Twitter page on Saturday to reassure fans that there is nothing to worry about. One of his tweets says, "Everything's ok guys. Thanks for the concern."

He then followed up with a video to tell his followers a more personal message; he said that he was in the hospital for only a couple of hours where they did tests and now he is back at his hotel.

While the actor is known for playing Dr. Evil's sidekick in the Austin Powers sequels, he's also played roles in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

Troyer recently celebrated St. Patrick's Day in one of his recent Twitter posts. He wears a green shirt and refers to himself as the "World's Tallest Leprechaun."
