Willie Nelson is about to launch his own personal brand of marijuana, with some saying it's a match made in heaven.

Nelson allegedly announced his new brand of weed at the SXSW Music Festival this week, according to the Daily Mail. The brand is called Willie's Reserve and will reportedly be sold in stores. While Nelson has famously been a lifetime lover of the drug, this is his first pot of his own, correlating with more and more states legalizing it.
Pot lobbyist Michael Bowman spoke with The Daily Beast about Willie's Reserve, revealing why Nelson decided to pursue this endeavor.

"Willie has spent a lifetime in support of cannabis, both the industrial hemp side and the marijuana side," Bowman explained. "He wants it to be something that's reflective of his passion. Ultimately, it's his. But it was developed by his family, and their focus on environmental and social issues, and in particular this crazy war on drugs, and trying to be a bright light amongst this trail as we're trying to extract ourselves from the goo of prohibition."
Bowman also revealed that special stores are in the works that will sell Willie's Reserve. He said that it will use the "anti-Walmart model" in that they are giving other growers opportunities as long as they meet a certain standard.
The business plan is of course to start in states that currently have legalization marijuana, Colorado, Washington and Alaska and move out from there. Bowman estimates that they will start making movement on these stores in 2016.
