Week 6 of "Monday Night Football" will feature the New York Jets going head-to-head with the Houston Texans in another highly anticipated matchup. While the Texans (5-0) remain undefeated and are expected to outperform the Jets, New York is currently looking to do damage control in a variety of ways.

After the recent struggles of QB Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow may finally get his shot at the starter job. Completing under 50% of his throws, Sanchez may now face the possibility of being benched.

Tight End Dustin Keller hasn't performed up to par either, as he's missed a large amount of time this season and only has one reception for seven yards thus far.

Running Back Shonn Green is another disappointment in the early going. The tailback has been extremely ineffective with his rushing game, only averaging 3.8 yards per carry with one touchdown. If Green continues to struggle, offensive coordinator Tony Sparano may look to give RB Bilal Powell more opportunities.

Ironically enough, it is QB Tebow who has the second best yards-per-carry average of all the New York players in 2012, with nine carries for 38 yards. Joe McKnight is the only other player to be more effective (three carries for 14 yards).

On the defensive side for the Jets, their production has also regressed, as their usually dependable defense only has a 50.9% third down efficiency and is ranked 31st in run defense with 173 yards per game.

Despite the team's current woes, Jets coach Rex Ryan spoke to the Daily News and feels as though it's too early in the season to fret.

"At some point, you do have ups and downs. It's not always a smooth road. It's where you end the race and not necessarily where you start it... We need to get better and I'm confident we will."
