Through the first five weeks of pigskin play, the NFL season has already had its ample share of twists and turns. While the Arizona Cardinals (4-1) and the Minnesota Vikings (4-1) are two teams that have shocked many with their overachievements, the struggles of teams such as the Green Bay Packers (2-3) have left many people in utter confusion. However, with the bar set considerably low, the Indianapolis Colts (2-2) and the Seattle Seahawks (3-2) have exceeded expectations. Although both clubs are barely hovering around the .500 mark, they are staying in the playoff hunt nonetheless.

Slated to lose more than their fair share of games, the Indianapolis Colts have opened the eyes of many with two wins. What was clearly meant to be a rebuilding season behind number one pick Andrew Luck, has turned into a payoff sooner than expected. After all, the Colts (2-14) only won two games in all of 2011. QB Luck's veteran-esque performance aside, Indianapolis' defense has truly turned it around. Finishing in the bottom eight in the category last year, the Colts now sit in the top seven. The team will take on the inconsistent New York Jets (2-2) in what should be a fairly close game in Week 6, assuming the Jets can't pull it together.

The Seattle Seahawks are another overachieving team in 2012 thus far. After a replacement referee debacle in which helped play a part in their 14-12 upset the Green Bay Packers, Seattle was impressive yet again in their 16-12 victory against Carolina on Sunday. QB Russell Wilson will look to continue on his career best performance from Week 5. However, this week will be no cake walk for the Seahawks as they will be tested once again by Tom Brady and the New England Patriots (3-2) on Sunday.
