The Week 6 edition of "Thursday Night Football" will feature the Tennessee Titans versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although the Steelers (2-2) haven't performed up to the level that many have expected thus far, the struggling Titans (1-4) will still have their work cut out for them when they take on Mike Tomlin's squad.

The Tennessee defense hasn't only been allowing an average of 36.2 points per game, but also has had major issues with turning over the football. However, the Titans' four losses have come against some of the league's premiere offensive teams against the likes of the New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers, Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings.

To Tennessee's advantage, Pittsburgh's defense will be without Sean Spence (torn left ACL) and David DeCastro (right knee injury). Although the Steelers still appear to be well-equipped against the running game, their defenders simply haven't gotten the job done against their opposition.

Pittsburgh is currently ranked 11th in the league against the rush and has given up an average of 4.1 yards per carry (16th). However, the Steelers did perform well against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5. The team was extremely effective in putting the pressure on QB Michael Vick, as they were able to create some turnover opportunities in the process. Pittsburgh's defenders were also successful against RB LeSean McCoy, holding him to a season low 55 yards.

Due to the vulnerability of the Tennessee defense, QB Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers offense do have the potential to blow the matchup open early. With Big Ben's playmaking mobility, the Titans must be ready to blitz. If not, it will be a long night for their secondary.

Rashard Mendenhall is also an offensive weapon for the QB. The RB is coming off a strong performance against the Eagles. The 25-year-old even had three receptions and put up a touchdown.
