Taryn Manning Arrested: An 'Out Of Body Experience' She 'Regrets' [DETAILS]
Taryn Manning's arrest and jail time spent last Thursday, Oct. 11, for allegedly assaulting her makeup artist is something that the actress regrets ever being involved in.
A source close to the actress said, "She regrets the actions of her night out" and any harm she caused makeup artist, and good friend of hers, Holly Hartman.
The 33-year-old actress reportedly kicked and punched her 23-year-old makeup artist in her room at New York City's Dream Hotel.
The two friends reportedly partied at the hotel where they became "very drunk." The late night partying then became physical around 2 a.m. According to reports, Manning allegedly assaulted Hartman by punching her, kicking her in the face and torso, and slamming her head against the floor and wall.
The actress was picked by police sometime after 5 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, and was later arrested and charged with assault, according to TMZ. Manning spent more than 24 hours in jail before she was released. However, a source revealed that the whole thing was a "regretful" mistake on Manning's part.
"One thing led to another, and a big night of drinking and being exhausted turned into a regretful scenario," revealed the source. "It was a personal, stupid fight, and Taryn woke up and found out she did something to her friend."
"It was like an out-of-body experience," the source added.
Manning's lawyer Joe Tacopina told TMZ that when they appeared in court on Oct. 12, he told the judge that Hartman did not want to press charges anymore. Tacopina said Hartman and Manning "love each other very much and she wants this whole thing to just go away." He added that the whole incident was "a little misunderstanding," and described the event that took place as an altercation, not as an assault.
