It's safe to assume Italy will be part of the World Cup in Brazil in 2014 once the dust settles, since it has not missed the championship in 50 years. Denmark's record with the World Cup is more varied, though their team did make it to South Africa two years ago.

Denmark has had a tough time as of late. The team's last two matches ended in a draw, and Denmark suffered three loses prior to that. Even the team's manager Morten Olsen has said publicly that his team faces a difficult challenge and it may be unlikely for them to pull out a victory.

To win, the Danish team will have to use its advantages to the fullest, which includes two viable attacking options in Dennis Rommedahl and Nicklas Bendtner, according to an analysis from The Bleacher Report. William Kvist and rising star Christian Eriksen will also need to control possession for the Denmark squad to keep Italy on its toes.

Though neither Denmark nor Italy has seen its best play in recent games, Italy comes to this game with the advantage: the team's average efforts typically score better than that of Denmark, and that combined with Italy's home field advantage led The Bleacher Report to forecast a 2-0 outcome in favor of the Italians.
