Currently sitting atop Group H of the UEFA Champions League, Manchester United will look to lengthen their lead in the standings on Tuesday when they face off against Braga at Old Trafford. United is coming off a 4-2 victory on Saturday against Stoke City.

Underdog Braga will undoubtedly be looking for a draw at the very minimum against the tough squad. Hence, a loss could push them down to third if CFR Cluj pulls out a win against Galatasaray, who haven't yet accrued one point.

United has played well and is expected to exploit the Champions League inexperience of the Braga football club. However, it's imperative that the English team doesn't look too far past their current task at hand as will face stiff competition in their upcoming back-to-back matchups with Chelsea (EPL on Oct. 28, Capital One Cup on Oct. 31).

Sir Alex Ferguson, the boss of Manchester United, did admit underestimating last year's competition as his club shockingly came up short in group play along with their longtime rivals Manchester City.

Nonetheless, the United squad is more than likely to have a strong lineup on the playing field against Braga. However, with their crucial games against Chelsea inevitably in the cross heirs, United is expected to rest key players such as Evra and Ferdinand. Robin van Persie could also be spelled to make way for either Javier Hernandez or Danny Welbeck.

Although United previously put their confidence in goalkeeper David De Gea in the previous two Champions League matchups, it's a strong possibility that Anders Lindegaard may be getting the call in tonight's match. In order for United's defense to be successful against the attack, they must put a stop to midfielder Hugo Viana and his set-piece abilities.
