Looking for their third straight victory in UEFA Champions League play, undefeated Arsenal will face off against Schalke, who will attempt to dethrone the Gunners from the top spot of Group B. Despite sitting in third place, the Germans do boast a talented attack that does have the capability to compromise the Arsenal defense. Nonetheless, the Gunner's above-average ability on the pitch will clearly pose a significant threat to their opposition.

At the current moment, it appears as though Arsenal and Schalke will indeed take the top two spots of their Group. However, the outcome of Wednesday's game will clearly change the face of the respective table. If the Gunners are victorious on the field, then that will serve to widen their margin by five points over Schalke. On the other hand, if the German squad can pull out a win, then the standings gap between the two would be considerably less.

Arsenal's Santi Cazorla is currently in the midst of a spectacular season and should play a key role in the crucial matchup. The skilled midfielder has been an all-around force to be reckoned with on the field. If Schalke can halt the talent's attack, then they may stay in the match.

An offensive threat for Schalke will be their powerful center forward Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. Huntelaar has scored in each of the first two Champions League games and should put pressure on the Gunner's defense.

Despite a poor showing in their English Premiere League over the weekend, Arsenal should continue their impressive Champions League play. To top it off, the team will be playing on their home turf at Emirates Stadium.
