The upcoming sixth season of ABC’s Rookie Blue is bound to be a rocky one as all of Division 15 faces major issues in their personal lives; a new inside look at the upcoming season reveals just how far the drama goes.

Aside from Sam’s ex, Marlo, showing up pregnant (despite his relationship with Andy), Chloe and Duncan get extremely close, Nick moves on from Andy an Chris has a new love interest too—that he seems very apprehensive about.

On top of that, the division is still recovering after a major explosion that occurred in the fifth season finale. Still, that’s just the surface of the issues they all face.

Matt Gordon, who plays Oliver Shaw, revealed to Entertainment Tonight in Canada that “everything in this season is transitioning. You think you’re where you are and you think you’ve got things figured out and then what you thought is not what it is. Everyone is moving out of their comfort zone…Crazy things are going on. There’s a lot of tension.”

Co-creator, executive producer & writer for the series Tassie Cameron also revealed the show picks up about two to three weeks after where it left off. While everyone tries to move on from the life shaking incident, many of the officers are still dealing with it. So it’s set to “unravel” within the first few episodes. Especially because they’re still not exactly sure what or who caused the explosion.

Cameron confessed they are set to face “an enemy from within.”

Rookie Blue’s sixth season airs Thursday June 25 at 10/9c on ABC.
