There's only 11 days to go until Election Day and a new ABC News/Washington Post daily tracking shows that GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney is leading the race.

According to the poll, 52 percent of likely voters expect Obama to win the election, which is a decrease from the 61 percent who thought so in late September.

But the same poll shows that the percentage of likely voters who suddenly think that Obama will win the election has dropped since September.

Forty percent of likely voters expect Romney to win. This is an eight point increase for the former governor from the poll prior.

Obama has a 49 percent job approval rating among likely voters.

Fifty percent of likely voters trust Obama to better advance the interest of the middle class compared to 45 percent who trust Romney.

50 percent of likely voters support Romney while 47 percent support President Obama. This is the first time that an ABC/Post poll has shown Romney leading with more than 49 percent.

The findings are showing that voters have strong faith in Romney of being able to handle the economy.

Fifty two percent of likely voters trust that Romney can handle the economy better than the 43 percent who trust Obama. This marks the first time Romney has established a convincing lead over the president.

Forty eight percent of voters think Obama has a better understanding of the economy's problems of the average Americans and 46 percent think Romney better understands.

On the international scene, 48 percent of likely voters trust Obama to handle international affairs and 47 percent trust Romney.
