While Stevie J remains in rehab on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, he confesses he’s afraid that his wife Joseline Hernandez won’t help him stay sober when he’s released.

Stevie J was ordered to 30 days in rehab after he tested positive for drugs like cocaine nearly a dozen times. In a bonus clip of the popular show, Stevie J opens up to his roommate Tim and expresses his concern that Hernandez will get him off track.

He said he had a bad dream that someone wanted him to backslide but he didn’t fall for it before confessing that he got Hernandez hooked.

“I get a fear of when I leave the joint. Am I gonna be able to maintain sobriety? My wife…I opened her eyes to things that maybe I shouldn’t have. Now I’m clean, and she got a problem too. She’s one tough cookie.”

In the same episode, Hernandez wasn’t happy about the idea of her having to sober up on behalf of Stevie J and even herself. Still, he made it clear he doesn’t plan on going backwards.

He told Tim, “I can’t be wasting time and playing around with drugs and alcohol. I’m finding a lot of peace being here. Away from everybody. Away from the phones. Away from email. I think this is one of the best things that ever happened to me,” he said. “My life is becoming more manageable since I’ve been here.”

Tim encouraged Stevie J to stay on track and Hernandez will follow suit.
