Kobe Bryant ridiculed critics during a press conference on Thursday, after fans began questioning the composition and strategy of the Los Angeles Lakers after season start of 0-2.

The Lakers lost 12 games in the season prior and with a start-off as such, obsessive fans of the team are going insane.

Annoyed, Bryant summed up his feelings towards the fans' criticism at a post practice chat simply saying "shut up."

"Shut up. Have patience. Let us do our job," Bryant demanded.

"I just don't understand. The city here, for me, not trying to bite my tongue and not calling them dumb, which I kind of just did, but they've seen us win multiple championships here playing in an offense that was tough to learn," he said.

Bryant continued.

"They know how that stuff works. So for them to be so stupid now and say, 'Let Steve dribble the ball around and create opportunities for everybody. Let Dwight post up. Or let me iso," he said.

"I won't say idiotic, but its close."

Bryant said the only thing that is different now is that now Mike Brown is telling everybody to be patient when, back then, Phil Jackson was the one telling everybody to shut up.

"I think the critics are more likely to run to him than they would at Phil Jackson," Bryant said.

The Lakers player noted that he believes his coach Mike Brown should be saying something his old coach would have said.

"Yeah because I've won, so I can. Mike, it would be a little tougher for him to say that. So I'll say it for him: Everybody shut up. Let us work and at the end of the day everyone will be pleased at the end of the day."
