Bethenny Frankel might boast about being a dedicated mother to her 5-year-old daughter Bryn, but sources close to the reality television star say that's far from the truth. A new report says that the Real Housewives of New York star is a part-time mother these days, as she is focusing her time on her hit Bravo show and promoting her Skinnygirl brand.

According to Star Magazine on Wednesday, insiders say that Frankel's ex-husband Jason Hoppy is the more involved parent at Bryn's school and that Frankel herself seems like an absent mother these days. In fact, she barely had the time to plan a decent birthday party for her daughter, despite the fact that she is worth $22 million dollars.

A source who attended the soiree said, "The party was mediocre - no one was impressed."

Meanwhile, according to Fox News on Wednesday, Frankel said that there are a lot of other companies out there who would love to have a piece of her pie.

She said, "Luckily I was the first woman to ever speak to women in cocktails, it was an original idea but I had all the other big brands coming up to copy me. You have to know if your idea is original enough and you can get out there first and best and strongest. You want to make sure no one else can do it and you want to make sure you get the trademark."
