To say that the 500 GB hard drives included with the current gen systems are inadequate is putting it milldly, what with new games running upwards of 50-60 GB a pop, even running from a disc. Not to mention all the DLC and season passes!
NYKO has come up with an ingenious solution for this, the Data Bank, which allows you to expand your system memory from a 2.5" drive to a genearlly cheaper and larger 3.5" drive.

The Data Bank for PS4 replaces the top of the console and its existing hard drive and installs with a single screw. It matches the design of the PS4 and a built-in LED strip illuminates whenever the console is accessing its memory, so it looks like part of it.
The Data Bank is available now at select retailers for $39.99.
