Transistor, the action RPG from Supergiant Games, is now available on iOS.

Tales From The Borderlands Episode 3 Is Out June 23

You can purchase the title from the App Store now for $9.99. The game is set in a cyberpunk world with gorgeous visuals, a compelling narrator and a great soundtrack. You play as Red, a singer who can upgrade her abilities and stop time using the Transistor to tactically plan her attacks on enemies.

Transistor was released last year to critical acclaim for PC and PlayStation 4. Outside of Mac and Linux versions, iOS will be the first new platform to see the game. Indie developer Supergiant Games burst onto the scene with the release of its first title, Bastion, on Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 in 2011. The game was later ported to many other platforms, and (though totally unrelated in terms of plot and setting) provided the foundational style for Transistor.

Call Of Duty's Supremacy DLC Will Hit PS4 And PC July 2

Both games are played form an overhead isometric view and feature a narrator, who tells the story as the player progresses through each section of the game. They have many differences, as well, most notably the settings and styles--Bastion is firmly fantasy-themed. The gameplay in Bastion is a bit more action-oriented given that Transistor allows you to pause and issue commands, which should better suit it for release on iOS devices.
