Jill Duggar News: Reality Star Launches ‘The Dillard Family’ Site, Is She Trying To Distance Herself From The Duggars? [VIDEO]
She might be a Duggar by blood, but it looks like Jill Duggar is trying to distance herself from her famous family. The reality television star has launched a new site called 'The Dillard Family,' where she and her husband Derick will be sharing new and photos of their son Israel David along with information on how fans can help Nepal, after the country suffered great damage from one of the most devastating earthquakes in their history.
Jill hasn't made any special announcements about her new blog, but both she and Derick have been sharing messages, videos and photos. Fans are speculating that the couple might be trying to distance themselves from the scandal-ridden Duggar family, thanks to reports that said her brother Josh Duggar sexually molested his sisters when he was a teenager back in 2002 and 2003.
Meanwhile, there's a rumor that says the couple's planned spin-off show has been shelved as the TLC network simply doesn't want to take any chances with additional Duggar shows on the small screen right now.
According to Celebitchy on Friday, a Duggar family source says that there are "no plans for a spin-off at this point," which was supposed to include not only Jill and Dillard, but her sister Jessa and her husband Ben Seewald, too.
So far, the Duggar sisters have not made any additional comments since their tell-all interview with Fox News' Megyn Kelly last week, nor have they mentioned anything about a spin-off show.
