The next day of Steam's Summer Sale is under way, bringing a new batch of discounts to PC gamers everywhere.

Today's discounts (which will change again at 1 p.m. Eastern tomorrow) admittedly don't seem as good as some past days at first glance, but there are still titles that should interest everyone -- particularly the franchise deals.

The sales today, which can be accessed through Steam's site or the downloadable client, include discounts on the Tropico, Assassin's Creed, Fallout, and Saints Row franchises, which are some pretty big names. As for individual games, Killing Floor 2 is $23.99, The Stanley Parable is $3.49, Mortal Kombat X is $44.99, and Stranded Deep is $9.89. Those are far from the only deals, so head over to see what piques your interest.

The sale will run from June 11-21, with new deals every day. Flash sales on specific games will also change every 12 hours, offering a constant rotation of cheap offers. The real challenge is not spending all of your money on games you might play, but it's tough not to jump on great offers.

The Summer Sale is gaming overload for many, and a great way to grab titles you may have had to pass on earlier in the year (or years past) for cheap. It's not the only promotional sale Valve runs during the year, but it's definitely the biggest. Check back every 12 hours -- or at least once a day -- for the new deals. Steam is also running a Monster Summer Game you can participate in to create new discounts (details for that here).
