Best Buy Black Friday 2012; Deals on Samsung Galaxy Smartphones, iPads, Tablets, Xbox 360 Have Customers Lining Up
Thanksgiving is only a few days away and major retailers are getting ready for Black Friday.
Best Buy is among the top retailers prepping for the big holiday shopping event.
Many retailers are starting Black Friday early by opening on Thanksgiving, but Best Buy will hand out tickets to customers in line starting at 10 p.m. that night to avoid the rush when they open doors at midnight.
Best Buy's website gives a preview of their hottest deals this Black Friday.
The store has a number of door-buster sales that include video games for $29.99 on Xbox 360 and PS3 video games including Battlefield 3 Premium Edition, and Need for Speed: Most Wanted. The featured video game console is the PS3 250GB Console with Uncharted & Infamous Collections plus Wireless Controller for $199.99. Other deals include games for as little as $7.99 that include Dead Island, Assassin's Creed Revelations, and Grand Slam Tennis 2.
For smartphones, the retailer will offer the Samsung's Galaxy Tab 2 for just $179.99. Sprint users will be able to get the popular Samsung Galaxy S3 for just $48 with a contract plan through Best Buy.
Some of the tech store's other deals include a Samsung 15.6" laptop with 4 GB memory and 500 GB hard drive for $349.95, and a Toshiba 40" LCD HDTV for $179.99. Asus 14-inch Windows 8 laptops available in pink, white or green will sell for $249.99.
Eager customers have already started lining up outside of Best Buy locations from California to Florida, according to the Huffington Post.
This is good news for the tech retailer that has had to close a number of stores from poor sales due to increased competition on the ground from Walmart and Target as well as online from Amazon.
