In one of many exciting Champions League matchups on Tuesday, Celtic will go up against Benfica in a Group G game on Tuesday.

With the cards already stacked against them, Benfica will be making some big changes going into the game. Midfielder Andre Almeida will replace the suspended Nemanja Matic while Enzo Perez will be inserted into the center of the midfield for the injured Carlose Martins.

With second place Celtic currently sitting three points ahead of Benfica, manager Jorge Jesus isn't underestimating the importance of the matchup for his football club, according to UEFA.

"Right now Celtic are in a better position to qualify than us and Spartak Benfica can qualify but we need to beat Celtic. They are as strong at home as they are away, but a bit stronger in Glasgow due to that fantastic atmosphere," he said.

"In Lisbon, they'll play in a stadium that is almost the same, where Benfica's fans really help us a lot. The Celtic fans sing 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and that's how it feels for us, because our fans make it easier for us," Jesus added.

The skipper is also well aware of the star-caliber presence that the Celtic squad will bring to the football field.

"Celtic have been the surprise package in this group because, after they beat Barcelona, the whole group changed completely. Right now they are the team who, apart from Barcelona, of course, have the best chance to qualify," he said.
