Apple products will be in high demand this Black Friday.

While many retailers are starting Black Friday savings on Thanksgiving, Apple deals will only be available for a short while.

Apple will hold a one-day only shopping event starting midnight on Friday on both their ground stores and online. Shoppers will be delighted to hear that many store locations will have extended hours, but come early as the Apple store is known for lines. Apple Stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. local instead of the standard 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

So what's to be expected by the company this year?

An email sent to Apple customers this week stated: "This Friday, there's something for everyone. Including you. Prepare your gift list: The one-day Apple shopping event is this Friday, November 23."

Some of last year's Black Friday deals included discounts of around $20 on iPad 2 and iPod Touches. Apple will most likely hold off on deals of their latest devices, but deals are likely for third-party accessories.

Many other retailers are offering their own deals on various Apple products.

Walmart is having a pre-Black Friday event online where you can purchase a Apple iPod Nano 16GB devices in various colors with a bonus accessory kit for $139. The pre-Black Friday online savings ends tonight.

Walmart's doors open at 8 p.m. on Black Friday, but at 10 p.m. the store will have a one-hour sale that includes a 16GB Apple iPad2 with WiFi for $399 plus a $75 Walmart gift card.

Target opens on Thanksgiving day at 9 p.m. with Black Friday deals that include Apple iPads with Retina Displays for $499 with a $60 Target gift card.

Best Buy is also the place for great deals on Apple products. The tech store will open their doors on midnight Thanksgiving with tickets to be distributed to customers in line at 10 p.m.

One of the hottest deals from the tech giant is an Apple iPod touch 32GB MP3 Player (5th generation) bundled with a $50 Best Buy gift card for $295. The iPod Nano 16GB (7th generation) device will be offered with a bundled $20 gift card for $145. Best Buy is also offering $100 Apple iTunes gift cards for $80.

Best Buy will also sell a 13″ MacBook Air for $1,024.

With deals across the board, Apple is likely to dominate the holiday shopping season.
