Actress Demi Moore purposefully set out to delay her divorce from Ashton Kutcher by constantly making new demands regarding the division of assets and monetary settlement, according to a source.

Moore and Kutcher were married for six years and though they separated in November of 2011, they have yet to finalize their divorce. The proceedings are taking longer than usual because Moore is telling her attorneys to drag out the negotations, according to a Radar Online source.

"Demi has instructed her attorneys to delay negotiations as much as possible," the source said. "The main issue they have been fighting over has been the division of assets and the monetary settlement, but it's now gotten to the point where Ashton is willing to cave in to all of Demi's demands just to reach a settlement.

"However, Demi is totally playing hardball and every time they come close to reaching an agreement she throws up another objection or demand."

Kutcher is reportedly in a serious relationship with his "That 70's Show" co-star Mila Kunis, a romance that began shortly after he and Moore parted ways.

The source added that the real reason for the delay in divorce proceedings might be the classic case of "a woman scorned." Kutcher and Kunis started date soon after he separated from Moore and one insider said Moore was jealous and frustrated by their union.

Moore was hospitalized following Kutcher's cheating scandal when they were married. Their split, followed by the fact that Kuctcher and Kunis went very public with their relationship soon after, was perhaps more than Moore could handle.

Moore's decision to delay the finalization of her divorce created a strain in her relationship with her three daughters: Rumer, Scott and Tallulah, the source noted. All three girls have sided with Kutcher and Rumer reportedly thinks her mother is acting inappropriately in the whole matter.
