Apple Black Friday 2012; Best Deals on iPads, iPods, MacBook Pro, Air
Black Friday has arrived and Apple is sure to dominate the biggest shopping event of the year.
Apple is holding a one-day only shopping event that begins on midnight Friday online and extended hours at ground locations from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
There are quite a few big deals from Apple this year.
The iPad with Retina Display, which usually starts at $499, is down to $458 just for today. The iPad 2, which is usually $399, is at $368.
The new iPod Touch is on sale for $268. It is usually $299. The last generation iPod Touch is down from $199 to $178. You only save $11 with the iPod Nano though. It is at $138, when it is usually $149.
There's $100 in savings on a few Macs. The 11-inch MacBook Air is at $898, down from $999. The MacBook Pro with retina display is priced at $1,598 from $1,699.
Many other retailers are also offering their own deals for those seeking Apple products.
Walmart's doors opened last night with deals like a 16GB Apple iPad2 with WiFi for $399 plus a $75 Walmart gift card.
Best Buy has sales on the Apple iPod touch 32GB MP3 Player (5th generation) bundled with a $50 Best Buy gift card for $295. The iPod Nano 16GB (7th generation) device will be offered with a bundled $20 gift card for $145. Best Buy is also offering $100 Apple iTunes gift cards for $80. Best Buy also will sell a 13″ MacBook Air for $1,024 and Apple TV for $89.
Online retailer MacMall has a wide selection of Apple products marked down like Mac Mini for $573, 16GB Wi-Fi iPad (4th generation) for $473.99, 64GB iPod touch (5th generation) for $394.00, 8GB iPod touch (4th generation) for $179.99, and 11" 1.7GHz 64GB MacBook Air at only $898.
Target's Black Friday deals include Apple iPads with retina displays for $499 with a $60 Target gift card.
