Batman v Superman star Jesse Eisenberg is in hot water after comparing his Comic-Con experience as a type of genocide.

Eisenberg, who plays the villainous Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was very negative about his time at Comic-Con. In a new interview with The Associated Press, the star did not hold back on his feelings towards the fan convention.
"It is like being screamed at by thousands of people. I don't know what the experience is throughout history, probably some kind of genocide. I can't think of anything that's equivalent," Eisenberg said.

The comparison has led to very negative responses from the Internet, especially on Twitter.
Eisenberg was present at Comic-Con to promote Batman v Superman alongside Ben Affleck, who is playing Batman and Henry Cavill, who is playing Superman.
Meanwhile, the second trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released at the convention. The trailer shows Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, who has decidedly longer hair, a step in a different direction for the usually bald villain.Batman v Superman also stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for release in theaters on March 25, 2016.
