Bowl Lineup For All 35 Games: See Complete Schedule For College Football Postseason
Sports fans across the country are preparing for the college football postseason, and now they'll know what to expect in every one of the NCAA's 35 separate bowl games.
The schedule for the postseason has been officially set, with the first games kicking off on Dec. 15 and the finale — the BCS National Championship — coming on Jan. 7.
That final championship will include a showdown between Alabama and Notre Dame. The game will take place in Miami, Fla., at the Sun Life Stadium.
Notre Dame's place in the BCS championship would have been a surprise to many fans at the beginning of the season. As The Bleacher Report put it, "Who was expecting a team that entered the season unranked to reel off 12 straight victories? Who was expecting a team led by a quarterback who had never taken a snap in his collegiate career to beat Michigan State, Michigan, Stanford and Oklahoma en route to booking a spot in Miami?"
Other high-profile games in the postseason include the Orange Bowl, which pits Northern Illinois against Florida State, and the Sugar Bowl, which will see Louisville take on Florida. Perhaps one of the most anticipated games is the Fiesta Bowl, a battle between Oregon and Kansas State.
