The British media has been speculating if the intimacy among the players in public is part of an attention-getting scheme to win more fans.

Kerri Walsh Jennings, US Beach Volleyball Olympic athlete, has been infected with pinkeye, but hasn't let it change her game. Walsh Jennings and her Volleyball partner, Misty May-Treanor, have been undefeated at the 2012 London Olympics thus far. However, the Olympian fears the pinkeye infection may lead her to "trouble" on the field.
