Kailyn Lowry, Javi Marroquin: 'Teen Mom 2' Star Will Be Deployed On New Episodes [VIDEO]
Kailyn Lowry's husband, Javi Marroquin, was deployed during production on Teen Mom 2, and next week, fans will watch as he prepares to leave his family.
During a preview of the upcoming episode, Lowry and Marroquin sit down to eat with Lowry's son, Isaac, 6, and talk about Marroquin's deployment.
"This is our last dinner as a family in this house for six months," Lowry points out.
"Don't remind me. It's sad," Marroquin says.
"It doesn't feel real to me. I mean, we have been through this already," Lowry continues. "We have been through this once and we weren't able to talk and it was really hard. This one, we are able to talk. You know, I just think that as much as you hate when people say this, to me, this is part of your job and we knew going into it that this is what was to be expected."
While Lowry claims Marroquin's deployment hasn't hit her yet, she knows it will -- and she also knows it won't be easy once he's gone.
"I don't think that it will fully hit me until you leave. I mean, I know it is going to be hard it just hasn't hit me yet," she explains.
Meanwhile for Marroquin, everything is beginning to sink in.
"I think it's hitting me right now," he tells his wife.
Adding to the stress of Marroquin's deployment was Lowry's miscarriage, which was discussed during Monday night's show. During the episode, Lowry was seen returning from a trip to New Mexico to visit a friend.
“It came up, the miscarriage, and we briefly talked about it,” Lowry explained to her husband, as reported by Radar Online. “Everything happened so fast between miscarriage and life in general so I felt like I had to deal with it on my own.”
After breaking down, Marroquin said, “I was so emotionally invested in the baby that when you miscarried I knew it was nobody’s fault. It wasn’t your fault and it wasn’t my fault.”
Still, he admitted, he felt like he “needed someone to blame.”
“That was part of the reason me and you were fighting so much right after the miscarriage because I needed to blame somebody and I was taking it out on you,” he said. “I’m sorry for being so mean to you when it happened and I’m sorry we were fighting that whole time.”
