'Young and the Restless' (Y&R) Spoilers: Billy Tries To Move On From Phyllis [VIDEO]
He was able to finally get over his once again failed attempt to reconcile with Victoria (Amelia Heinle) by sleeping with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), but her determination not to betray Jack (Peter Bergman) will force Bill (Jason Thompson) to once again move on on The Young and the Restless.
After working together to steal Passkey from Newman and then get Victor (Eric Braden) locked up for what he did to Phyllis and Jack with Marco, the feelings between Billy and Phyllis were ready to erupt. They finally did and the two wound up having sex, an act Phyllis seemed to immediately regret because not only did she cheat on Jack, but she did it with his brother. Since that night, she has been doing everything she can to forget it ever happened and refocus her attentions on her husband. Billy however wants her again, and can't seem to let go.
However, after running into Jack at the Athletic Club and seeing him with a room key in his hand, Billy may be forced to do just that after all.
"I hope there's no trouble at home," he says to Jack in a preview clip for the Wednesday, May 25 episode.
"Just the opposite," Phyllis says as she walks up. "My husband and I are having a much-needed getaway."
Billy will be shocked, and after Ashley (Eileen Davidson) shows up and steals Jack away for a few minutes to share her concerns about Billy trying to move on from Victoria, he will seek out the moment he wants with Phyllis by meeting her in her room. He will ask her if she is trying to forget what transpired between them, admitting he can't, and he will venture that if she would allow for something real to form between them, he knows it would work out. Unfortunately, Phyllis will still tell him to leave, as she has made her decision.
Aware he can't force her, BIlly will then head down to the bar to drown his troubles in alcohol, and a new woman, something he easily finds himself able to do when he runs into Bethany (Chrishell Stause), a waitress he knew from On The Boulevard who had a thing for him.
The Young and the Restless airs Monday-Friday at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
