'Bold and the Beautiful' (B&B) Spoilers: Ridge Comes Clean About Douglas's Paternity [VIDEO]
He finally decided to let Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and Thomas (Pierson Fode) convince him the best thing for Douglas was to let everyone know he wasn't really the baby's father, and now, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will risk losing almost everything he has by coming clean with the truth on The Bold and the Beautiful.
The secret was getting too hard to keep, and after considering the fact that Katie (Heather Tom), Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill (Don Diamont) had all learned the truth, it became clear to the trio that everyone should know Thomas was really the father. Now, Ridge will gather a meeting with Eric (John McCook), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Rick (Jacob Young) to let them know about the secret he'd been keeping from them all.
Naturally, reaction won't be positive to the secret, with shock, awe, disbelief and anger being expressed by everyone. And now that the truth about Ridge being so dishonest will come out, he will likely lose his position as CEO of Forrester in addition to the rights to call himself Douglas' father. And with the CEO chair once again vacant, it could unleash another massive battle as everyone starts fighting for the right to take it over.
Happy his brother is no longer in charge, and once again thirsty for a large amount of control, Rick will start to make a case to Eric for him to be reinstated as CEO, a position he lost last year when Ridge took it from him by getting a majority of stock ownership in the company. But he will have competition for the space once again, and this time, his own niece and nephew will be the ones who will fight him for the spot.
Steffy will see it fit that she become the CEO since she has been the company's president ever since Ridge took over, and will feel that it's only natural progression for her to move up to the next most powerful level of control. However, Thomas, trying to secure his son's future, and knowing his father did want to groom him to eventually take over, will also make his play for the chair.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
