'Bold and the Beautiful' (B&B) Spoilers: Quinn Gives Eric Shocking Advice About Forrester CEO Decision [VIDEO]
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has finally come clean with the rest of his family about his not being Douglas' biological father and Thomas (Pierson Fode) actually being so, and could lose his job as Forrester CEO as a result, and now, the decision rests completely on Eric's (John McCook) shoulders on The Bold and the Beautiful.
Citing the same clause that was used when Rick (Jacob Young) was bought out as CEO of the company so Ridge could take over, Rick convinced Eric that perhaps Ridge wasn't the right fit for the position after all, and should be replaced. Eric has decided to think things over, as Rick, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas (Pierson Fode) all begin to make plays for the chair, even though Ridge is currently still sitting in it.
And when he can't handle the pressure of making the decision, Eric will seek out his secret lover, Quinn (Rena Sofer) for some relief from the stress. However, he may be surprised when he confides in her about what's bothering him.
"I hate that I have to play favorites," he says in a preview clip for the Wednesday, July 13 episode. "I hate that I have to choose."
However, when he moves to get what he really came to Quinn for, which was sex, she will surprise him by offering up her advice about how to handle the situation. And he will be even more shocked when he realizes she thinks he should once again take over as the head of the company, and let his sons and grand kids all realize that despite his age, he is still the one in charge.
"You built this business," Quinn says in the clip. "So take it back."
Now, Eric may be left to consider that possibility as well, even though he stepped back because he felt it was time for him to do so. And now, after truly thinking things through he will make a decision about the CEO job-and whether he, Ridge, Rick, Steffy, Thomas, or someone else, will run the company from here on out.
The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
