'No Man's Sky' Trailer Released: Newest Teaser Invites Players To Explore 18 Quintillion Planets [VIDEO]
It is only a few weeks before Hello Games' universe simulator, No Man's Sky, gets released on the market. As fans of the upcoming game eagerly await the title's release date, the developers of the game have released the first of four trailers that showcase the four foundations of No Man's Sky - Exploration, Combat, Trading and Survival.
The recently released trailer deals with the game's first pillar, Exploration. Indeed, this particular aspect has been among the headlining features of the game so far. Saying that No Man's Sky is a massive game is a gross understatement. With 18 Quintillion planets that could be explored, Hello Games' pitch regarding the game's "limitless variety" and "endless discovery" becomes very accurate and honest.
After all, with almost a limitless number of planets in the Universe to explore, the game would definitely be able to give something new to always look forward to. In the recently-released trailer, the developers of the game showcased just that.
The trailer itself started in a rather simple manner, with the first-person POV of the player inside a cockpit of a spacecraft as it is launched from a space station. The next scenes, however, provided a tiny glimpse of how much exploration that upcoming game offers.
Following the launch of the spacecraft, the trailer showcased a number of planets that are fully explorable to the player. The trailer showed the player landing on different planets, both during the day and during the night. A number of the planets featured different climates, as well as varying levels of danger, from gigantic beasts and fairly aggressive plant life.
What was particularly impressive about the game is the fact that each of the planets that players can explore is actually decently-sized. As could be seen when the trailer zooms out into space, the planets that could be accessed by players seem to be at least as large as the Moon.
No Man's Sky is set to be released for on Aug. 9 on the PlayStation 4 and PC.
