Rihanna MTV VMA 2016 Performance: Songstress Hits Stage 4 Times & Kills It [VIDEO]
Rihanna was the woman of the hour during the MTV Video Music Awards as she accepted the coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. And she definitely put on a good show!
The singer switched things up and instead of doing a 20 minute set like other recipients of the award in the past, she hit the stage four times throughout the evening and gave fans nostalgic moments with some of her past hits and kept it current with the new ones.
For her first one, she rocked out to upbeat hits We Found Love and Where Have You Been.
She returned for a rendition of her hits Rude Boy, What’s My Name, and one of her more recent ones Work. She opted for an edgier look that included a hood with a mesh cap over it, a fur crop top a waisted belt and boyfriend fitting leather pants. And the audience was definitely here for it. Check it out below.
She put her swag on as she sang BBHMM, Pour It Up, and Needed Me when she returned to the stage for the third time. She wore a black bodysuit and fur paired with knee high boots. Take a look.
She slowed things down for her fourth performance and sang Stay, Diamonds, And Love On The Brain as she closed out the show.
This was definitely one of the biggest performances from Rihanna this year.
