Just like what rumors predicted, Clash Royale introduced a new Legendary card during its recent update. Dubbed the Inferno Dragon, the new unit is capable of dealing a lot of damage, though using it requires a lot of strategy as well.

Here is a brief walkthrough on Clash Royale's Inferno Dragon, including tips on how to use it, and ways how to counter it.

Inferno Dragon: How to Use It

One thing that Clash Royale players must know about the Inferno Dragon is that it is short-ranged. The unit also moves pretty slowly. However, its attack features are so unique and devastating that it is capable of wiping out towers in mere seconds.

The Inferno Dragon's attack power increases with time, making it deadlier the longer it stays active on the game. When a player uses the Inferno Dragon, it would initially have 75 dps. After 2 seconds, however, the Inferno Dragon's attack would increase to 250 dps. This continues until the Legendary card acquires its maximum 875 dps, which is very formidable.

Considering the Inferno Dragon's attributes, it becomes the perfect unit for defense, since their attack abilities could be best used for counterattacks. They work best with tank units, which can serve as a buffer while the Inferno dragon charges up its attack.

Inferno Dragon: How to Counter It

While the Inferno Dragon is definitely one of the most dangerous cards in the game to date, its main strength is also its main weakness. This is because the Inferno dragon requires time to charge up its devastating attacks. Thus, interrupting it quickly resets its damage, rendering its formidable ability far less effective than it could be.

With this in mind, the Inferno Dragon is best countered by Minions, the Three Musketeers, Rockets and Ice Spirit, Lightning, Zap and Freeze interruptions. Using this locks the Inferno Dragon's attack to just 75 dps, which is far less of a threat than its maximum 875 dps.
