'Clash of Clans' News: October Update Sneak Peek Reveals Balance Changes, Nerfs, Buffs, New Troops & More [VIDEO]
Supercell was not kidding when it stated that huge updates are coming to Clash of Clans. While the official rollout of the update remains days, if not weeks away, the developer has already provided a Sneak Peek at the numerous changes that would be implemented in the game.
The announcement, which was posted in the highly popular mobile title's official blog post, has been met with enthusiasm from the Clash of Clans community. This is because the Sneak Peek, while being just the tip of the iceberg, already includes numerous changes that could very well change the landscape of the game.
Clash of Clans October Update Preview
The information provided by Supercell so far is very encouraging. For one, the developer has announced numerous balancing changes to the game, such as level 6 Wizards already being made available for Town Hall 9 players. Town Hall 11 players are set for more balancing changes, as Hidden Teslas are now unable to deal 2x damage to P.E.K.K.A. units, and Level 10 Mortars being introduced to the game.
Skeleton Spells have been boosted significantly as well, with a single spell shot now spawning 26 Skeletons. Cloned Troops also stay in the game far longer than before, making them even more formidable than they were before.
While buffs seemed to have been the focus of Supercell's brief announcement, some troops in the game have also been nerfed. Among these would be Bowlers, whose hit points would be notably reduced.
Clash of Clans Sneak Peek Reception So Far
The wide scope of the Sneak Peek provided by Supercell has mostly drawn praise from the Clash of Clans community. This is quite unsurprising, considering the fact that the changes to the game are spread very wide. However, numerous players have also voiced out their concern about the game's update, stating that most of the improvements in the game seemed to be locked to Town Halls 11 and above again.
Locking most of the improvements in the game to higher level Town Halls actually hurt a huge part of the community, since a significant number of Clash of Clans players are using the mobile title for free. Thus, the improvements in the game that have been previewed are beyond the reach for numerous Clash of Clans players.
