"Wolverine 3" just dropped the official title for the film while star, Hugh Jackman, and director, James Mangold, gave fans some well-deserved teaser.

Fans of the "Wolverine" film franchise are getting antsy because there are not a lot of details being revealed about the latest sequel when the movie is due to be released less than six months from now. Today, however, this changed as the main element of "Wolverine 3" has been revealed. Independent UK confirmed that "Logan" is the official title on the latest sequel for the franchise.

The title was initially teased by Mangold on his Twitter account when he posted the second page of the film's screenplay. In the photo, the word "Logan" is clearly visible. The first official poster for the film has been released as well showing the title and the release date.

With the poster for "Logan" unveiled, fans can only deduce that the movie plot will definitely be based from the "Old Man Logan" storyline. Also, the poster hints that this may very well be Logan's last hurrah. Wolverine is known for his ability to heal yet in the ad, scars on his hand are extremely noticeable. Will Wolverine die at the end of the film?

While on the subject of movie details, not much has been said about the film. Jackman, on the other hand, said in an interview that the tone of this last movie will be awfully different from all the others. The Australian actor also disclosed that more details will come out in the next week or so. Would this include a teaser trailer?

With regard to the rating of "Wolverine 3," Cinema Blend noted the obvious use of profanity in the script posted by the film's director. The report speculated that the Marvel film will follow in the footsteps of "Deadpool" which had an R rating. Mangold's description of the fight scenes adds fuel to these speculations.

Catch Wolverine in, possibly, his final battle in "Logan" opening in cinemas on March 3, 2017.
