Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be equipped with new features and specifications before launch
Following the delay in the release of Microsoft's Surface Pro 5, gadget lovers might have become more eager to know if the wait will be worth it. According to rumors, Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will comprise a brilliant 4K display. But current status of the device hints many tech experts to deny this fact.
However, this delay in the release of this tremendous device is suspected to be caused by a few reasons. According to a new insight, Microsoft is planning to attribute the 7th generation core processor, Intel Kaby Lake. The processor is still said to be in process and it is also hinted to take some more time to reveal. Therefore, Surface Pro 4's release date is also reported to extend a bit.
This new processor is also hinted to be built in association with advanced technology, which will make the device run to its ultimate level with lesser energy consumption. This will also gradually enhance its battery life. Microsoft is also expected to launch the device in two variants, Primary one with 2K display and the premium high-end one with a 4K display. Rumours also boast that the device would see the lights of day primarily with the enlighting 4K screen resolution.
The 4K is the top improvement that could boost the sales. However, according to Neurogadget's investigation, the upcoming Surface Pro's 4K display might not be able to render 4K content initially. Another possibility points that it might come as a paid service which can be included at a later part as well, while the former ones being implemented with 2K mode.
According to University Herald, the device is also assumed to run on Microsoft's upcoming updated operating system Windows 10 Redstone 2. This will bring many advancements for the device's productivity with lots of enhancements. However, the update is reportedly delayed and rescheduled to 2017.
In additional features section, the device is expected to come along with USB type C port and Nvidia's GPU to fasten the app and gaming accessibility. With the major attribution to roll out in the upcoming year, the device is also hinted to make its debut not before the mid of 2017. However, official confirmation from the company's end is still awaited in this regard.
