'Supernatural' Season 12 Spoilers & Premiere Date: Misha Collins discusses Castiel’s relationship with Mary
"Supernatural" Season 12 will return to the small screen tomorrow and the network is revealing more teasers on what fans will expect on the show's final season. Aside from that, actor Misha Collins who plays the role of Castiel also teases on Castiel's relationship with Mary (Samantha Smith).
Game & Guide reported that The CW has released a video of "Supernatural" Season 12. The episode titled "Memento" shows a man that speaks with a strong German accent. It also features some backward sequences. It also shows Dean (Jensen Ackles) and some Nazis along with the return of Hitler.
Another teaser was released by the network showing Dean introducing his mother Mary to Castiel. It was earlier reported that fans will learn more about Mary in Season 12.
International Business Times reported that Collins teased that his character will no longer be demure and emotional in Season 12. He added that Castiel is now ready to play dirty. In a teaser video for Season 12, it shows Dean, Mary and him looking for Sam (Jared Padalecki).
The trio looks for Lady Toni (Lady Blackmore) since she is responsible for Sam's disappearance. In the video, they are talking to a man who seems to have last seen Lady Toni. When the man denies knowing her, Castiel gets angry and hits him.
Collins said that Castiel has a fighting spirit after dropping the ball with Lucifer. The actor added that Castiel's mission in Season 12 is to hunt down Lucifer.
Collins also stated that Castiel and Mary share a certain quality with each other. He added that Castiel understands what Mary is going through after being dead for 30 years. He understands that Mary is currently adjusting to the world around her after spending decades in the afterlife.
"Supernatural" Season 12 will premiere on Oct. 13 on The CW.
