NBA 2K17 Releases Patch for PC and PS4 to Fix Bugs; No More Hangs and Uncounted Scores for Shots Made
The new patch for NBA 2K17 is out now for PC and PS4 platforms to fix some bug issues. Patch for Xbox One will soon be available.
NBA 2K17 players have been experiencing issues while playing the game, so 2K Sports just launched a patch that will help fix a number of the bugs encountered. For now, the patch is only available to PC and PS4 gamers. However, Xbox One users should stay put since the update for the platform will be released soon.
Details on the patch notes are now posted on Facebook. The post includes fixes for game hanging and freezing scoreboard when playing the popular basketball game.
Although patch notes for Xbox One will be published soon, 2K Sports is yet to comment on whether there will be patches released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The published patches for NBA 2K17 include those for general bug fixes like fixing the issue of uniform colors between the gamer's team and the opposing team. Correcting this means the two teams will no longer clash during an ongoing match.
As for freezing scores, 2K Sports fixed this by adding the score to the scoreboard only after the animation is complete. The note also makes sure that the list of friends shown in "Who's Online" will not disappear when the player views it.
The creators of the game also altered some game-related notes. When going for the Relentless Finisher Badge, the right bonuses gained from contact layups will be awarded properly to the user. Also, the patch fixes a hang that happens when a player goes for a rebound.
In terms of MyPARK issues, a fix has been made to wrongly timed jump shot animations during a crucial match. In addition, players can already be granted a win if the opponents suddenly disconnect during a Pro-Am Walk-On match.
Lastly, for the myCAREER bugs, NBA 2K17 makers have already made corrections in a situation where the screen goes black while loading for a game. The patch notes also released a solution for the hang that ensues when trying to join the 3PT Dunk Contest when the gamer's MyPLAYER has an injury.
