‘Arrow’ & ‘Legends of Tomorrow’’ showrunner teases crossover between ‘The Flash’ & ‘Supergirl’
"Arrow," "The Flash," "Supergirl" and "Legends of Tomorrow" are some of the highly anticipated shows this fall. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim talked about a possible crossover between these shows.
According to Comic Book News, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly's SiriusXM radio show, Guggenhei talked about the different crossovers of the show that aired in the last two years. He revealed that the crossover episodes that they are planning are different from the crossover episodes that were already aired.
Guggenheim explained that they are planning on the "most ambitious crossover" they have ever done. He revealed that they are working on a huge three-part story which brings in Supergirl (Melissa Benoist). So basically the upcoming crossover episodes will be the crossover of all four shows. He assured the fans if this will push through, this will be "one big epic movie of a story."
International Business Times reported that the showrunner said that there will be huge actions scenes in the episodes and there will also be some touching character moments. He added that the episodes will also tackle different plot lines particularly in "The Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow."
"The Flash" director Kevin Smith also shared that he already read the script for the crossover episodes and he expressed his excitement for the week-long special. On his social media account he revealed that the production is planning something massive and it will surely be fun both for the fans of the show and the comics.
Smith added that the production is currently adding elements from the original story which was also his favorites from the past. He added that there will be legendary locations and particularly DC Comics fans will surely enjoy the crossover episodes.
As of writing, there is still no official date as to when the "Arrow," "The Flash," "Supergirl" and "Legends of Tomorrow" crossover episode will air but it is expected to air in The CW sometime this fall.
