Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus highly hinted to get Android Nougat update
Android has recently announced its two new superlative updates in the queue namely, 7.0 Nougat and 7.1 Nougat. As soon as this announcement was revealed, the smartphone users have been flanked with the curiosity of which smartphones will be able to avail this update or not. While numerous speculations have already being enchanted by many, about these two updates, most of the big names in the smartphone industry seemed to be secretive in revealing the information.
However, Motorola is seemed to be moving one step ahead than its rival in this case. According to a report by Indian Express, the company seemed to reveal much insight about its next step to include the updates in a certain number of smartphone developed by them, including its masterpieces Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. In a recent post on their Indian Customer Help page, they have stated "We are excited to announce a new software update for Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus by Motorola. This update brings Android 7.0 Nougat to your phone along with other improvements,"
Although, according to a report by IBT, the updates are still unseen on the platform as an update-test done by them on both of these devices showcased the message "Your firmware is up to date" and it did not seem to fetch any chance for the availability of Android Nougat as an OS update. According to the insights, indicated by them, the users of these smartphones need to wait for some time more to see the real-time update of Android 7.0 and 7.1 Nougat.
Motorola has even declared that its brand new line up Moto Z series has been confirmed for Android Nougat update. However, some of the expected high-end features that Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus users will be enabled after updating to Android Nougat include improved data saver, a new multitasking feature, more efficient notification controls and an improved battery life.
